6/18/2009  -  ***** Important announcement regarding Iridium 9555 firmware version HT09014 *****
Users upgrading their handsets to firmware version HT09014 will be unable to use the ASE 9555 docking stations. This may be true for other manufacturers of 9555 Docking Stations as well. This firmware release erroneously routes the voice audio to the handset instead of through the interface ‘heel’ connector. Since Docking Stations interface to the handset through this connector, audio is dropped for all outgoing voice calls initiated by the Dock. This includes RJ-11 and Privacy Handset interfaces. Data calls are not affected.
