Send faster emails and data files via BGAN using our Inmarsat-developed TCP Accelerator software. The TCP Accelerator for BGAN is available for Windows Vista, XP and Mac OSX for PowerPCs and IntelMac hardware. It is installed on a BGAN user's PC and significantly enhances the performance of TCP traffic over BGAN in the 'send' direction. Follow this link to download and install TCP Accelerator.

Inmarsat country code
Inmarsat has its own country code - +870 - which automatically routes the caller to the Inmarsat customer regardless of which Inmarsat Ocean Region the terminal is located - i.e. anywhere in the world.
From 1 January 2009, the +870 Inmarsat country code must be used for dialling all Inmarsat numbers. The four Inmarsat ocean region codes - +871, +872, +873 and +874 - have been withdrawn and will no longer connect callers to Inmarsat user terminals.
